Modica protagonist for the “European Night of Museums”

Maria Monisteri (in the photo), mayor of Modica, explains that “our museums will be the protagonists of the night dedicated to them in the continental event next weekend. Modica celebrates the ‘European Night of Museums‘, Saturday May 18th. The Franco Libero Belgiorno Civic Museum in Palazzo della Cultura, the Ethnographic Museum in Palazzo dei Mercedari and the Medicine Museum in Palazzo Campailla will be open, with free entry, until 10pm. At Palazzo della Cultura in particular, from 9.00 pm, the students of the Galilei Campailla classical high school will present ‘The Myths at the Museum’, an idea of ​​a cultural proposal that was desired and coordinated by the head teacher of the prestigious Modica institute, the professor Sergio Carruba and teachers Concetta Mirabella and Nicola Randone. The protagonists will be: Ester Fede, Fatime Khalidi, Giulia Avola, Michele Avola, Matilde Colombo and Giulia Garaffa”.
