Requests for help especially for flooding, landslides and unsafe plants throughout the Veneto
Firefighters at work during the night throughout the region due to the bad weather that hit the whole of Northern Italy and also in Veneto since yesterday morning.
There were 250 interventions which saw the various fire brigade teams active, responding to requests for help especially due to flooding, landslides and unsafe plants.
In the province of Verona, 60 water damage interventions have been carried out since midnight, particularly in the area of San Bonifacio and Soave where divers from Vicenza also intervened for motorists stuck in an underpass. (continues below the media gallery)
In Padua, 60 interventions were carried out in the province: the municipalities of Montagnana and Casale di Scodosia were particularly affected. A landslide invaded the road behind the Rocca di Monselice. (continues below the media gallery)
No less serious is Vicenza, where 71 interventions have been carried out due to water damage and landslides, 35 still pending. Landslides and landslides in the upper Vicenza area. In Rovigo 26 interventions carried out, 15 in Treviso. Venice has 52 interventions carried out and 12 in the queue.
It is therefore not possible to stop yet: the fire brigade’s rescue device has been reinforced with personnel retained on duty.
