Seaside issue and defense of Italian beaches; promotion of culture and reading; tourism, distinctive identity markers and architectural and religious heritage; support for sports associations. These are some of the themes that will be addressed in the tour and in the various events that tomorrow, Thursday 16th and Friday 17th, will see the Northern League senator Roberto Marti, candidate for the European Parliament in the Southern Italy constituency, as protagonist. The first two-day stage in Calabria will touch the Tyrrhenian, Catanzaro and Ionian Cosenza areas.
THURSDAY 16 LAMEZIA TERME – TAURIANOVA – PIETRAGRANDE. – IN LAMEZIA the president of the culture and cultural heritage, public education commission of the Senate of the Republic will visit the diocesan sanctuary of San Francesco da Paola in Sanbiase, to then participate, at 11.45am, in the press conference which will be hosted at Casa Mastroianni . Here, in the presence of the Lega parliamentarian Domenico Furgiuele and Rossano Sasso, former undersecretary for Education, an honor will also be awarded to Asd Sambiase on the occasion of the victory of the Excellence championship.
IN TAURIANOVA, Book Capital 2024, Marti will participate at 4.30 pm in the event which will be hosted in the Antonio Renda Municipal Library. At 7pm he will be in PIETRAGRANDE for an aperitif with supporters and militants.
LET’S DEFEND ITALIAN SEASIDES AND BEACHES – FRIDAY 17th, after the press conference at 11 am in Cosenza with the regional councilor of the League Katya Gentile and the Undersecretary of Labor Claudio Durigon, Senator Marti will meet the seaside resorts and tourist operators of the Ionian coast Cosenza. The event will be hosted at 1pm by the Cannone Restaurant, in the historic seaside village of Schiavonea, in Corigliano-Rossano. Afterwards, at 3pm, at the Hotel San Luca on the SS106 he will preside over a press conference to present the League’s list in support of the centre-right mayoral candidate Pasqualina Straface.
The appointments in the next few days in Calabria follow the series of meetings held this week in Puglia: yesterday (Tuesday 14th) with Minister Matteo Salvini first in Taranto for the start of the construction phase of the rolling stock depot intended for the Rapid Bus network transit (BRT) and then to Lecce to meet friends and supporters. Also in Lecce in recent days, the President of the VII Commission of the Senate participated in the event promoted by the Italian Pedagogists and Educators Association focused on the entry into force of the law which has finally recognized the pedagogical and educational professions and which has established the relevant registers professional.
