“Gne n’amma gi’ tutto in Portogall”, the new work by Dino Becagli in Potenza on May 19th at the Don Bosco Theater

Added to the numerous shows staged by the Minimo Theater of Basilicata in its 20 years of activity is: GNȄ N’ AMMA GI’ TUTT’ IN PORTUGALL’, a performance sponsored by the Municipality of Potenza, which included it among the initiatives of the Maggio Potentino. Dino Becagli’s new work will be staged on May 19th with the ‘premieres’ scheduled at the Don Bosco Theater at 5.30pm and 9pm. Two Acts brings laughter, between jokes and banalities that are intertwined with memories of times gone by , when we lived happily even in need – summarize the organizers. Seven characters, meeting now on a park bench, now at the bus stop, decide to leave together for Portugal, already a tax haven for many compatriots. Urban and social critical issues, petty crime, thefts in apartments, difficulties in transport and other public services, the lack of healthcare, strengthen his conviction. Fate, however, will reserve a different future for them. This is the first work produced in the new headquarters of the Teatro Minimo, in the Scalinata del Popolo, in the historic center of the capital, which will soon become, assures the president of the association Nicola Fiore, “a well-equipped place of education and cultural promotion aimed in particular at young people , created in the heart of the ancient city, almost as if it were a hypogeum where one could immerse oneself to discover the essence of live theatre, where emotions are on stage, bringing theatrical experiences to life through the discovery, training and valorisation of new talents”.
