A high pressure field, in fact, embraces the island guaranteeing stable and sunny weather everywhere. Specifically on the Tyrrhenian coast, scattered clouds alternating with sunny spells throughout the day with a tendency to clearing in the evening; on the Ionian coast and the southern coast, a mostly cloudy day, except for the presence of scattered clouds in the morning; in the Apennines and inland areas mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day.
Moderate winds from the north-eastern quadrants rotating to the north-western quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea from slightly rough to rough; Channel and Sea of Sicily from very rough to rough.
Ever hotter temperatures
Temperatures on the island are increasingly higher. Highs between 23 and 25 degrees. 31 degrees are expected in Agrigento, 32 in Caltanissetta, 32 in Catania, 30 in Enna, 27 in Messina, 26 in Palermo, 35 in Ragusa, 34 in Syracuse, 23 in Trapani.
In the rest of Italy
North. A new disturbed impulse reaches our regions and so the day will be characterized by an increasingly unstable atmosphere almost everywhere. Heavy rainfall is also expected, in the form of thunderstorms with hail and isolated tornadoes and storms. More intense phenomena in Lombardy and Triveneto. Temperature drop in the Northwest. Winds from the south, seas locally rough.
Center and Sardinia. Subtropical high pressure protects most of our regions, in fact on this day the good weather will prevail and it will also be very hot. Only in northern Tuscany will there be fast thunderstorms, at times intense and with hailstorms. The winds will blow from the southern quadrants making the Adriatic Sea very rough. Summer climate.
South and Sicily. The African anticyclone driven by humid southern winds, even strong ones, protects our regions. The day will be characterized by dry weather, but the sky will often be very cloudy or at times even overcast, especially over Sicily, Calabria and the Ionian coasts in general. Adriatic and Ionian Seas very rough or locally agitated. Summer climate.

Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast the weather is mostly sunny, except for low clouds or banks of fog in the morning; on the Ionian coast and the southern coast, a mostly cloudy day, except for the presence of scattered clouds in the morning; in the Apennines and inland areas mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day. Weak winds from the north-eastern quadrants attenuating and rotating to the south-western quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea, Channel and Sicilian Sea rough.
North. The pressure is increasing again on our regions therefore the day will pass with at times unstable weather. The areas most at risk of precipitation, often thunderstorms, will be the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas, the nearby plains and Friuli. Over the rest of the Po Valley we will have an irregularly cloudy sky. Weak winds from variable directions. Mild climate.
Center and Sardinia. High pressure prevails over our regions therefore the day will be characterized by general good weather conditions, in fact the sky will be clear or at most partly cloudy except for greater cloudiness, also associated with some showers, over northern Tuscany. The winds will blow weakly from different directions. Mild climate and generally smooth seas.
South and Sicily. Our regions are affected by a high pressure field with a subtropical matrix so the day will pass with good prevailing weather, but the sky will be more cloudy, especially in the morning, over Sicily and Calabria, then it will clear up. The winds will blow weakly from the southern quadrants, the seas will be slightly rough or only the Ionian Sea will be very rough. Hot summer climate.
