Alessandria della Rocca: Two electoral lists and two mayors

There are two candidates for mayor already ready to go up to the municipal building. These are Giuseppe Montana and Salvatore Mangione who are at the head of two civic lists representing the centre-left and the latter centre-right for the local elections on 8-9 June. Giovanna Bubello, outgoing mayor, did not reapply for the next five years and returns to being a school director.

Giuseppe Montana, 34 years old, lawyer, has mainly political experience, having led the local Democratic Party club for seven years. He has never held administrative positions. During the presentation he referred to agricultural, tourism and youth issues.

Salvatore Mangione, 55 years old, high school teacher specializing in dental technology, was a municipal councilor in 1990 and a provincial councilor in 1994, but above all he was mayor twice consecutively in 1995 and then in 1998. He has accumulated a certain amount of experience in administrative life and aims at the development of the country, avoiding depopulation.

The mayor who will be elected will have to address burning issues such as depopulation, road isolation and agricultural development.

Civic electoral list “Building Tomorrow” in support of the mayoral candidate Giuseppe Montana has as candidates: Antonio Giovanni Comparetto, Alessandro Circhirillo, Sebastian Claudio Canzoneri, Davide Finardi, Ivan Scaglione, Roberta Settecasi, Elena Cannata, Alice Viscuso, Patrizia Angela Gabriella, Lorella Barber. Two councilors indicated by Montana: Lorella Barbiera, Davide Finardi.

Civic electoral list with the motto “Alessandria Futura”, which proposes the mayoral candidate Salvatore Mangione, presents the candidates: Pasquale Aliotta, Giovanni Comparetto, Domiziana Centinaro, Angela Maria Chiazza, Mariella Greco, Anna Maria Miccichè, Carlòo Perzia, Giovanni Puglia, Antonella Settecasi , Giuseppe Vitello. He also indicated the two councilors: Anna Maria Miccichè and Giovanni Puglia.
