Ferrara A worker was injured yesterday in the early afternoon while he was working in the Norauto workshop in Via Ferrari. The man suffered a head injury and is hospitalized at the Sant’Anna hospital in Cona. His condition is good and his life was never in danger also because, apparently, the safety protocol worked well. The man works like mechanic in the workshop and yesterday, for reasons currently being investigated by the police, he was hit by one of the hydraulic cranes (the “goat”) used to lift the engines. The shot landed in the head and this worried the colleagues and owners quite a bit who immediately called the ambulance. The 118 health workers were on site and the doctor also arrived in the medical vehicle. Considered the dynamics and the type of accident, the Ferrara police also intervened. At first the man looked very serious but fortunately he never lost consciousness and over the course of a few minutes has stabilized. He was taken to the hospital Sant’Anna di Cona with a code of medium severity and appears to have suffered a head injury. For this reason the doctors felt they had to monitor him and he remained under observation. Meanwhile, the police carried out a series of checks mainly related to safety in the workplace and, apparently, no deficiencies were found. Some colleagues from injured person they were listened to in order to understand what happened and what the exact dynamics were. The owners of the workshop, very worried about what happened, immediately made themselves available for any kind of clarification.
