The girl in question – Silvia, fictitious name – she was just 19 years old: the investigation papers say that in August 2022 she turned to Marilena Lopez to be introduced to prostitution. A neophyte, who at first asks to be directed on how to behave with some “particular” customers.
The young woman prostitutes herself in some accommodation facilities between Trani and Monopoli. She becomes part of the team of Lopez, Federica Devito and Ruggiero Doronzo (all three ended up in prison). The third, a 29-year-old from Trani, according to the accusation “supervised and directed the flow of customers”. And it is Doronzo himself who on one occasion calls the young woman, saying he has a particular client who wanted to have sex with two girls. “I have a slave for both of us – she says on her cell phone – so stay close to the phone at this number here and I’ll call you back a few minutes early, so you can wake up Marilù and tell her that a slave is coming for both of you, ok?”. But it seems that Lopez didn’t want to wake up: “Say there’s the slave outside! You don’t know how to handle the slave! Tell Marilù “there’s the slave outside, Roberto said, wake up!” And then she would go back to sleep! In the end, Doronzo resigns himself and provides the instructions only to the 19 year old: “Now I’ll make you play it, if it’s something say… say that Claudia isn’t well, so you do it yourself, if she gives you the money For two it’s good if not get paid for one! At that point the girl asks if the customer wanted to be whipped, and Doronzo tells her that there really should be a whip in a trolley. “But don’t keep him too long – he recommends – just make him do what he has to do for twenty minutes and let him go, there’s another one right after!”.
Lopez immediately explains to the young woman how the earnings are divided: “I told her straight away, I said “listen, if you want to work with me, half of what you do is mine!”. One day the two had grossed a total of 2,500 euros. But only 700 would have gone to the minor and 1,500 to Lopez: “Seven hundred I gave to her, and one thousand and five to me… and the other… two hundred are, you know the… expenses, things”.
