Enrico Pedace, municipal councilor of Crotone, expressed his praise for the positive developments regarding the road infrastructure in the region. Following the meeting of the services conference, held on 9 May at the regional Citadel and convened by Eng. Massimo Simoni, Commissioner for the works of the SS106 of ANAS, Pedace released a statement expressing gratitude towards all the actors involved in the process of improving communication routes in the province.

In the statement, Pedace thanked the mayors and presidents of the provinces of Catanzaro and Crotone, as well as the president of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto, for their commitment and determination in facilitating infrastructural progress. He also expressed appreciation for Fabio Pisciuneri, underlining the latter’s crucial role in leading this important initiative.

The city councilor highlighted the rapid transition from the financing phase to the tender in less than two years, defining this result as a true example of virtuosity between the entities involved. Pedace underlined the strategic importance of the infrastructures for the hamlets of Papanice and Apriglianello, highlighting how these will acquire a new relevance thanks to the new motorway, which will allow you to quickly reach important places such as the Germaneto Hospital, a university center and the offices of the Calabria region.

Finally, Pedace announced the Calabria Region’s commitment to collaborating with the Province of Crotone to further improve internal roads, guaranteeing that it will ensure that the process is carried out as quickly as possible.
