“Food for profit” arrives in Marsala with “38th parallel”

These are the words with which the artistic director of the Festival “38th parallel – between books and cellars”, Giuseppe Prodepresents the screening of the documentary film by Giulia Innocenzi and Pablo D’Ambrosi “Food for profit”, scheduled, in the presence of the two journalists, in a meeting moderated by Nicola Barracoauthor of HyenasThe May 17that 8.30pmto the Lilibeo Marsala Archaeological Park.

Released in theaters at the end of February with independent production and distribution, with record numbers for screenings and diffusion on social media, and with an exclusive first broadcast of Report, the investigative film has become a real cinematic case: at the end of a work that lasted five years, the documentary film tells and denounces the link between the meat industry, lobbies and political power, between infiltrators with hidden cameras at the top levels of the European Parliament and images of what happens in intensive farms across Europe .
