Update on May 15th at 1pm
The COC – Municipal Operations Center – has been activated to continue monitoring the situation in the city following the weather alert. The level of the Lambro at the Peregallo hydrometer is around two meters and has overflowed in some points only within the Park. The roads are currently passable except for the Via Lario underpass, closed to traffic in both directions due to flooding.
Update on May 15th at 10.30am
The Civil Protection System of the Municipality of Monza activated the alert procedures after the orange alert issued by the Lombardy Region.
Insistent moderate to heavy rain is expected this morning, while thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. Precipitation will ease towards the evening.
The current situation of the hydrometric levels of the Lambro river is below the warning level.
The municipal Civil Protection Service maintains the alert and continues monitoring the Lambro, both in the city and along the entire course of the river.

The functional natural risk monitoring center of the Lombardy Region has issued a bulletin weather alert orange For hydrogeological riskstarting from the second part of today May 14thand risk hydraulic starting at midnight.
Between the night and the morning of tomorrow May 15th Moderate rainfall is expected throughout Lombardy, including heavy rainfall on the north-western plain and nearby sectors of the Pre-Alps.
Both alerts will last until the next update.
