Countdown to the eighth edition of the Festival of the Paths of Francis which will start on Saturday 18 May at the Cenacle of Santa Croce in Florence where, at 11.00, the meeting “The gift of creation” with the professor is scheduled Telmo Pievani, Fra Giancarlo Corsini and the journalist Giovanna Zucconi.
The meeting, promoted by the Opera di Santa Croce and the Fondazione Progetto Valtiberina, aims to explore the theme of nature, conceived as a gift granted to men who have the task of conserving it and passing it down over time.
Thus the 2024 edition of the Festival dei Cammini di Francesco comes to life, a heterogeneous event which brings together conferences, book presentations, evening shows and trekking which has always been inspired by the experience of Francesco and his testimony with the aim of creating spaces for discussion on Franciscan themes, still relevant after more than eight hundred years.
