Spadoni (LpRa): “Conference on infrastructures of May 13th, Ravenna abandoned to itself”

“An important conference was held in Forlì on the topic of infrastructure and development in the Romagna area, promoted by the Romagna Chamber of Commerce and attended by, among others, the president of the Romagna chamber of commerce Carlo Battistini, the deputy minister of Infrastructure and mobility Galeazzo Bignami and the regional councilor for public works Andrea Corsini.

The event represented an excellent opportunity to address numerous strategic issues for the territory and in particular it was the venue for confirming the design of the E 45 Ravenna – Mestre section as well as the financing of the first high-speed railway section of the Adriatic backbone between Bologna and Rimini via a high-speed line. I don’t think it escapes anyone’s attention that the locations on the Via Emilia already benefit from their geographical location, but the event in question has laid the foundations for a major infrastructural development to the point of determining major investments for the immediate future. .

Hence the key role of the Romagna Chamber of Commerce which includes the territories of Forlì, Cesena and Rimini, decisive in promoting and supporting the strategic priorities of those territories with a view to development and consolidation, especially in reference to connections. This fruitful meeting between the various institutional and economic subjects also highlights the loss of role of the Chamber of Commerce of Ravenna which, as will be remembered, obstinately opted for the union with Ferrara instead of joining the Romagna consortium with Forlì, Cesena and Rimini, as a geographically more natural and coherent choice in terms of history, economy and interests.

Unfortunately, it clearly emerges that the aforementioned territories located on the Via Emilia do not only benefit from their geographical position, but can count on the added value and strength represented largely by the Romagna Chamber of Commerce.”
