Alexandria – The Cristo District is preparing to host the third edition of “A Neighborhood in Bloom”, an event eagerly awaited by the local community. The appointment is set for Saturday 18 May starting from 8.30 am in Piazza Campora (Via Nenni), with a program full of activities and entertainment for all ages.
Event Programme:
- Over 35 Stands: A variety of exhibitors offering products and services for all tastes.
- Exhibition of Vintage Cars and Motorcycles: An opportunity to admire historic vehicles that marked an era.
- Entertainment for Children: The magician Canticchio and the inflatables will liven up the afternoon, making it special for the little ones.
- Holy Mass: Religious celebration at 11:00 in the square.
- Shops Open: Local shops will be open for aperitifs and lunches, offering an opportunity to discover the neighborhood’s businesses.
- Baptism in the Saddle and Sports Activities: Moments dedicated to sportsmen and horse lovers.
- Disco Inferno concert: At 3.30pm, the famous group Disco Inferno, with their 27-year career and over 2,200 shows under their belt, will offer an exciting musical performance.
Raffaella Ferretti, vice president of the Traders’ Association, underlines the importance of the event: “We want to make our activities and this important area of the Cristo District known.”
Paolo Pilotto, promoter of the event and councilor of the Alessandria Sud Association, talks about the genesis of the initiative: “In 1998, elected councilor of the Southern District, we formed an association for the valorisation of our territory, naming it ‘Citizen Association of Alessandria Sud’ . The first initiative was to expand the neighborhood festival, managing to bring in over 150 stalls and various initiatives, achieving great success.”
Participation in the event is promoted with the participation of the City of Alessandria and the collaboration of the Alessandria Sud Association. “A Neighborhood in Bloom” promises to be a moment of aggregation and fun, celebrating the community and local activities of the Cristo District.
