On Saturday 18 May, at 9.00 pm, Bishop Gianrico Ruzza will preside over the Pentecost Vigil in the Castle of Santa Severa in Piazza delle Barrozze. For the first time the celebration will involve the two united dioceses of Civitavecchia-Tarquinia and Porto-Santa Rufina together. The bishop invited all the faithful of the dioceses of Porto-Santa Rufina and Civitavecchia-Tarquinia to participate in the Vigil after the experience experienced last year by the Church of Porto, this year the completion of the Easter season will see the two dioceses together.
In the perspective of an ever-increasing ministeriality of the faithful, during the prayer the bishop will give the mandate to the extraordinary ministers of Communion of the diocese of Porto-Santa Rufina and to the workers of the youth ministry of Civitavecchia-Tarquinia falling in this territory linked by the Tyrrhenian coast which starts from the Tiber and touches Tuscany, including part of the metropolitan city of Rome, the Roman countryside and southern Etruria.
