Friuli Doc, the new logo celebrating 30 years presented

Three letters that gives thirty years symbolize an entire territory. Friuli DOC is the largest event dedicated to the food and wine of Friuli Venezia-Giulia. An increasingly popular event that showcases, in streets and squares of Udine, in the clubs and taverns where it started in 1994, the excellence of the regional territory, enriching and renewing itself year after year. This is the concept that summarizes the new image of Friuli DOCpresented today together with the site put online, which will be the setting for the event in these preview months and during its progress, in the second weekend of September.

The image first unites the three iconic letters of the event (D, O and C) to the illustrations representing the Friulian food and wine excellences and the symbolic places of Udine. Among the colorful images, the clock tower in Piazza Libertà is immediately recognisable, followed by the Duomo and the Bollani Arch. In central location is the Castle of Udinethe double-facade church of San Giacomo in the central square of the same name, the fountain in Piazza Libertà and finally the Loggia del Lionello.

In the lower part, to accompany the most historic and characteristic places in the historic center of the city, the excellences of the Friulian table are presented, starting with white wine, moving on to cured meats, and the typical dish par excellence of the region, frico with polenta. Continuing, you can see the cheeses, cured meats, dark grapes for the production of red wines, but also fish and seafood products.

In In the middle there are people, and not just the producers who safeguard traditional practicesbut they perfect and renew them year after year and put them on display in Friuli Doc, but also the people who gather in the city every year to celebrate and spend days full of joy and good taste.

The colors are lively, cheerful and bright, testifying to a climate of celebration and fun that increasingly aims to be the setting for Friuli Doc, especially on the occasion of his thirtieth birthday, for which important innovations are in the workshop.

Prospects for the future

The first of the innovations is the graphic communication of what in effect is themost important event of the year in Udine and Friuli. The first step was precisely the creation of an eye-catching, joyful and pleasant look, which will also be the spirit and appearance during the event in September.
