The Bioblitz Lombardia is coming this weekend: with the Adda Nord park you can discover butterflies. The appointments are on Saturday at the Brivio swamp, in Cisano Bergamasco and on Sunday at the biodiversity island in Concesa. Participation is free.
Bioblitz Lombardy: the Adda Nord park to discover butterflies
With the Bioblitz Lombardia this year we will discover the magical world of butterflies.
These are the Parco Adda Nord events for the upcoming weekend:
Saturday 18 May – Monitoring with the expert Gianluca Ferretti. From 10.30 to 12.30 at Palude di Brivio. Meeting of participants in via Lago Vecchio in Calolziocorte; from 2.30pm to 4.30pm in Cisano Bergamasco. Meeting of participants at the San Gregorio cemetery car park along the road that leads to the hamlet of Pomino.
Sunday 19 May – monitoring of wild pollinators at the Biodiversity Island and guided visit to the Bee Point at Villa Gina in Concesa di Trezzo sull’Adda. Meetings at the headquarters at 10.30am and 2.30pm.

How to participate in an “active” way? It is necessary to download the INaturalist application for free on your smartphone, create your profile and join the Bioblitz Lombardia 2024 project. Then take part in one of the activities proposed by the Protected Areas of Lombardy, take a photograph of the biodiversity and upload it to the INaturalist application
If you don’t know the species you photographed, the application will suggest a possible identification and you can ask the experts in the field!
