The network is expanding ‘Destination Amalfi Experience’: over 70 operators including hotels, non-hotel facilities and experience promoters have signed up to the Welcome and Hospitality Charter of Amalfi, committing itself to guaranteeing high standards of quality, authenticity, hospitality and attention to the guest. The Destination Network is one of the most ambitious objectives of the “Strategic Plan for the post-covid tourist reactivation and relaunch of the Amalfi Destination” approved by the Municipal Administration of Amalfi. “Through the Welcome and Hospitality Charter – explains Daniele Milano, mayor of Amalfi and tourism delegate of Anci Campania – the structures and tourist operators undertake to guarantee maximum usability for people with special needs (elderly, families with children or people with disabilities) in terms of safety, comfort and autonomy and to minimize waste production and energy consumption , gas and water through the use of adequate disposal systems and the protection of our natural resources, to protect the environment and the landscape. We also promote constant training – for the development of inclusive tourism – with the improvement of linguistic and digital skills for the enhancement of identity heritage, creating a diversified and innovative, but above all unique and unforgettable offer”. By adapting their activity to the standards set by the Hospitality Charter and the related regulations, tourist operators can obtain the tourist qualification mark Amalfi Experiencea ‘brand awareness’ whose aim is to guide the potential visitor in travel choices already in the planning phase and during the stay in Amalfi.
