Teramo. Fire Brigade: intervention for fire in an attic.

Tonight, shortly after midnight, teams of firefighters from the Teramo Command, with a fire engine, a tanker, a ladder truck and an off-road vehicle with a firefighting module, intervened in Via Orto Agrario in Teramo, for the fire in the attic of a residential building. The firefighters reached the wooden roof of the three-storey building above ground and put out the fire, preventing the flames from spreading to the inhabited floors. In the attic rooms, where furniture, furnishings and various combustible materials were stored, a significant volume of fire developed which made extinguishing operations complex. A portion of approximately 130 square meters of the wooden roof collapsed and the dense smoke caused the blackening of the stairwell of the building affected by the fire and the perimeter wall of the adjacent building. All the apartments, although not affected by the flames, were evacuated and the property was declared unusable. The Teramo Carabinieri also intervened on site for their activities.
