Mediobanca Premier opens the new Wealth branch in Palermo

A new banking reality has recently appeared on the local scene. We are talking about Mediobanca Premier, the bank dedicated to the management of savings and investments of Italian families, with a particular interest for professionals and entrepreneurs.

For the first time, the prestigious brand of Mediobanca, the institution founded in 1946 by Raffaele Mattioli and Enrico Cuccia and which has always been the financial partner of large and medium-sized Italian companies, appears on the street through Mediobanca Premier, a new brand that merges two assets worth. On the one hand, the expertise of over 70 years of Mediobanca in the financial markets, on the other, the experience of CheBanca, which in 15 years has traced a path of evolution and growth, supported today by a digital and multi-channel platform of excellence and from a qualified offer of asset management and consultancy.

Today (13 May 2024), in the presence of the deputy general manager and central commercial director Gianluca Talato, the Area Manager Salvatore Fisicaro and the branch manager Antonio Messina, the new Wealth branch in Palermo was inaugurated in via della Libertà, 26 The branch stands out not only for the new logo, but also for its elegance, privacy and functionality in its consultancy activity, in line with the focus on asset management, at the center of the Mediobanca Premier model.

However, this is not a simple rebranding, but a new ambitious project, as demonstrated by the Area Manager Salvatore Fisicaro: «With Mediobanca Premier we will address a higher range of customers through the development of a new offer and the use of a brand that is very attractive to customers and professionals in the sector. We aspire to reach customers with assets above 500 thousand euros, be they families, professionals or entrepreneurs. To meet their needs we will leverage all the skills of the Mediobanca Group. I am referring first and foremost to the synergies with Corporate & Investment Banking, which are fundamental to becoming attractive to business customers.”

«Our presence in Palermo and in the region – comments Gianluca Talato, deputy general manager and central commercial director – confirms the interest in an area that hosts not only primary multinationals but also a thriving network of small and medium-sized businesses and artisan workshops. We are talking about around 70 thousand family businesses in the region plus almost 200 thousand VAT numbers that we can now best support in the choices of personal and corporate wealth management, thanks to a top-level Wealth Management platform. We are currently present in Palermo with a network of 6 bankers and 22 financial consultants, and with two bank branches, one of which is Wealth, plus two financial consultant offices, also in Palermo.
