Businesses meet Minister Urso

CIVITA CASTELLANA – «The presence of Minister Adolfo Urso represents a very important sign of attention for the ceramic district. We are coming from a particularly positive period, but the Government’s eye remains attentive and vigilant.” With these words, this afternoon at the Aldero Hotel, MP Mauro Rotelli, president of the Environment Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, introduced the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, who had been busy shortly before in Civitavecchia. We are in the midst of the electoral campaign, an opportunity for “Government, businesses and local institutions” to come together. With a wink at Antonella Sberna, European candidate for Fratelli d’Italia and present at the meeting. «The ceramic district, suited to exports, is very important for Made in Italy and represents a production area that can play a key role in terms of business development and employment», said Minister Urso. «Recently – he added – we celebrated Made in Italy Day (15 April, ed), an opportunity to support our businesses in their challenges.” Starting from Transition 5.0 for small businesses, «a provision which allocates 13 billion euros between Pnrr resources and the national budget to technological innovation, digitalisation and energy efficiency through the use of green technology for the purposes of industrial self-consumption. These are two chapters, two assets, on which we must push to make our businesses more competitive.” «This industrial district – explained Urso going into detail – can make the best use of these tools, which will be operational in a few weeks». The owner of Business and Made in Italy then clarified how fundamental it is to «align Municipalities, Regions, the national Government and the European Parliament», because by pursuing common policies «we will be able to fully develop industrial strategies, which take place above all in Europe. We must aspire to an assertive industrial policy, like the one the United States has, with common resources, which must be invested significantly.” Urso also underlined the importance of commercial policy which must be “protected from unfair competition, especially from the East”. During the meeting, which was organized by Federlazio, after greetings from the mayor Luca Giampieri, the president of Federlazio Tiziana Governatori spoke; Dimitri Mei (Federlazio ceramics); and Antonio Sini for Apea Civita Castellana. Among those present were also the FdI coordinator, Massimo Giampieri, and the regional councilor Daniele Sabatini. The arrival of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, in Tuscia was announced by the Honorable Rotelli on 9 May, during the visit of the national organizational manager of Fratelli d’Italia, Giovanni Donzelli.
