“Human capital, a strategic lever for the development of businesses and territories” is the theme discussed this afternoon, Monday 13th, at the Industrial Union of via Gramsci in Savona, for the diffusion of the culture of business training.

The conference, after greetings from the director of the Industrial Union Alessandro Berta and moderated by Mattia Minuto, opened with the speech “The labor and training market in Italy today” by Fabrizio Gallante, Co-founder Evergon Training and Managing Director Enzima12, who outlined a general snapshot of the Italian context and its current situation, starting from the Enzima12 report “Training and work: the situation in Italy”. The report was recently presented to the House Labor Committee. The EU objectives, aimed at training, provide for companies to achieve 30% of training activity by 2030, while currently the average is 39.3%. As far as Liguria is concerned, 22% of companies provide training. Despite the availability of public funds for training, 78.2% of companies finance training activities with their own resources. Considering that the average age of workers is increasingly higher and the closure or merger of high schools. Due to the reduction of the school population, an ever-increasing demand for skills, in particular technical ones, will be created in the future. A phenomenon which, Gallante explained, “is not yet fully understood and conceived”.

It was then Paolo Sottili, general director of Alfa, the regional agency for work, training and accreditation, who illustrated the Liguria Region’s measures in support of professional training and active employment policies. Domenico De Feo of the Marazza e Associati law firm in Rome, specialized in labor law, addressed the topic from a legal point of view, highlighting the “constitutional value of training” and how “in mobile professional destinies it guarantees the job transition”.

Federica Modugno then spoke and, in the last part of the event “Innovations and trends in the development of human capital” v Alberto Giusti, Business Angel & Venture Capitalist, Co-founder 12Venture, with the speech “Training in the era of ‘AI” and “Skills as wealth for people and organizations” edited by Marco Mazzini, Co-founder Dokimazo.

The event was organized by Evergon Training, together with Aidp and Uisv. Evergon Training, which operates mainly in Savona and its province, acting as a point of reference for Liguria, is a company of the Enzima12 group, a venture builder operating in the training and employment services sectors.
