The edition of Book fair of Turin returns next year from 15 to 19 May 2025 and the host region will be Campania. The news was announced in the closing press conference by the director Annalena Benini.
The president speaks remotely Vincenzo De Luca: “I think it could be a good exchange of ideas in a very complex moment for the country. I hope that next year we won’t have to come with the party card to talk.”

The host nation of the Turin event will be the Netherlands.
Director Benini gave some numbers to testify to the success of the edition which ends today: there were visitors 222 thousand, compared to 215 thousand last year. Around one visitor in two chose the subway: there were 110,000 trips to the “Lingotto” and “Italia 61” metro stops. 84% of tickets were bought online and, of these, 29% were purchased by people under 25 years of age.

Benini also told a curious anecdote: “There were moments of embarrassment, like when they told me that there were people who jumped the queue saying ‘I’m the director’s mother’: in fact it was really about my mother”.
