TWO NEW PROJECTS IN PADUA

NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSES: TWO NEW PROJECTS IN PADUA

The Municipality of Padua wants to replicate the success achieved with the opening of the first Neighborhood House in Arcella which has recently celebrated its first year of already boasting 17 thousand presences. In short, neighborhood houses are places of aggregation in which associations or social entities present in the area carry out inclusive or supportive projects for residents. Aggregation in response to loneliness, a growing social plague even in a city like Padua. The next two locations will open by the end of the year, one in the Cave district and the other at La Corte in the Mortise district. To better understand the needs of residents, interviews were carried out. The projects will initially be discussed and explained in two separate events; on May 17th in via Dal Piaz for the residents of the Cave district from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, same time on Tuesday 21st May at the Court for the residents of Mortise. After the public meeting, a plenary session will be held to better understand all the details of the proposals put forward by the Associations, subsequently the tender will be opened which can also be participated by the various interested parties which will finally lead to the awarding of the spaces by the Municipality.
