The award ceremony of the provincial ANPI Taranto competition on Art. 2 of the Constitution

L’ANPI provincial Taranto (National Association of Partisans of Italy) has once again promoted, with the patronage of the Volunteer Service Center of the province of Taranto and with the collaboration of the Jonico UniBa Department and the CGIL, a competition for students with the theme of an article of our Constitution.

There Italian constitutionin paperback edition, with the autograph reproduction of the signature of Enrico De Nicola (Provisional Head of State), published on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy (1861-2011) by the Institutional Reports and Communication Service, Office of Parliamentary Information, Archive and Publications of the Senate. (Rome 27 December 1947 – countersigned: The President of the Constituent Assembly (Unberto Terracini) – the President of the Council of Ministers (Alcide De Gasperi) and v. Look at seals Giuseppe Grassi.

This year, Article 2 was chosen: “The Republic recognizes and guarantees the inviolable rights of man, both as an individual and in the social formations where his personality develops, and requires the fulfillment of the mandatory duties of political solidarity , economic and social”.

The awards ceremony will be held at 9.30 am on Wednesday 15 May, at the Jonico Department of the University of Bari, in via Duomo n.259.

During the meeting, coordinated by Prof. Adriana Chirico, curator of the competition and vice-president of the provincial Anpi for Schools and University, Prof. Riccardo Pagano, ANPI provincial president of Taranto, will give a speech on the theme of the competition.

Greetings will be given by Prof. Paolo Pardolesi, director of the Jonico-UniBa Department, Dr. Vito Alfonso, director of the provincial school office of Taranto, Dr. Giovanni D’Arcangelo, general secretary of the CGIL, and Dr. Francesco Riondino, president of the CSV of Taranto.

The meeting will see the participation of eleven secondary schools from Taranto and its province and students from the Jonico Department of the University of Bari.

For each section, the winners of the competition will receive book vouchers worth 100 euros and a medal as a prize. Notes of merit and special mentions are also provided; the schools will be awarded plaques, while all students will receive certificates of participation in the initiative.
