He concluded the meeting Galeazzo BignamiDeputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, announcing that the Government included the design of the section between Ravenna and Mestre of the E45 in the program contract with Anas and financed the first section of the high-speed line of the Adriatic backbone between Bologna and Rimini with 3.6 billion. Furthermore, he also announced that the definition of the Simplified Logistics Zone for Emilia-Romagna is nearing completion.

“Italy is located in a strategic geographical position, at the center of the Mediterranean and Emilia-Romagna, a hub for mobility since ancient times, is today a region that is firmly positioned at the top of the national level for growth of wealth and which therefore has a great capacity to multiply the effects of investments. In this particular framework, the analysis of the main positioning indicators of our Region, as shown in the White Paper on Uniontrasporti and Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna infrastructures, recalls the need for an analysis of the data from which to start to correctly identify the choices on which bet. And this is particularly true for Romagna which highlights a positioning of the summary indicator of the three provinces in the medium-low part of the ranking, with indices to be improved especially with regards to the railway and logistics systemsdeclared Carlo Battistini, president of the Romagna Chamber of Commerce –. As part of the infrastructural priorities for Romagna and, specifically, for the provinces of Forlì-Cesena and Rimini, for which the Chamber of Commerce has a strategy to support the competitiveness of the territory, the vision is that of the vast Romagna area and therefore not linked to provincial and local particularism, but with interventions in collaboration with the relevant public bodies and trade associations. Close collaboration and a common vision are in fact an element of strength and an essential driving force. With this meeting we therefore wanted to bring to the attention of the Government and Region the strategic objectives for our territory, first of all, the completion of the section from Ravenna to Mestre of the E45 and the strengthening of the railway line between Bologna and Rimini, through the construction of a high-speed line. In addition to these strategic objectives, after the catastrophic events that have hit the territory in the current year, it is also necessary to include hydrogeological safety interventions and those for the safety of road connections in the valleys and for the municipalities among the priorities. hilly and mountainous and their fractions. The Chamber of Commerce participates in the public discussion for the strategic infrastructure of the territory and for businesses, with an approach oriented towards data analysis, with particular reference to the partnership with APT for tourist flows. It also promotes the culture of subsidiarity which introduces a dimension of “widespread responsibility” towards the common good. A decisive methodological factor in the governance of infrastructure as it focuses on constructive and transparent dialogue between local communities and central administrations”.
