They kicked off on Saturday 11 May, with the traditional one “Scinnuta du Santu Patri”, the celebrations in honor of San Francesco di Paola in Marsala. A rich program of events coordinated by the parish priest Don Giuseppe Titone and the festival committee will follow throughout this week. Thursday 16 May the Holy Mass will be celebrated at 6.00 pm and will mark the beginning of the triduum in honor of San Francesco di Paola, preached by Don Emilio Ganni, educator and trainer of the Archdiocese of Milan. Friday 17 May at 6.00 pm the Holy Mass is celebrated, with the renewal of the vows of the tertiaries, and at 9.00 pm there will be a concert with music by Battiato and De Andrè, curated by Maestro Giandomenico Anellino. Saturday 18 May, at 5.00 pm, reception of the Saint Paolano at the Port and laying of the laurel wreath at sea for the fallen; followed by the Holy Mass with the participation of the catechism students. The celebrations will end Sunday 19 May with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 6.00 pm, in the presence of the authorities and with the delivery of the medallion to the new members of the Fair Committee; following the procession which will travel along the following streets: Corso Calatafimi, Piazza Caprera, Via Nino Bixio (turn right without name, near Paghi Poco), Via Tunisi, Via Regione Siciliana, Via A.
