“Modern Renaissance” on display in Forlì La Nuova Ferrara

Forlì The exhibition “Pre-Raphaelites. Modern Renaissance”, hosted at the San Domenico Forlì Civic Museum from 24 February to 30 June 2024, reconstructs the profound impact of historical Italian art on the British Pre-Raphaelite movement between the 1840s and the 1920s. Designed and created by Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì Foundationthanks to the main partnership of Intesa Sanpaolothe bank led by the managing director and CEO Carlo Messina, the exhibition and the rooms of the San Domenico Civic Museum host over 300 works belonging to multiple artistic currents, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, furniture, ceramics, glass and metal works, fabrics, medals, illustrated books, manuscripts and jewellery. “Intesa Sanpaolo supports with great conviction the exhibitions that are presented every year at the San Domenico Forlì Civic Museum, because every time there is an idea that allows us to address a movement, Italian or foreign, from a new perspective” declared Giovanni Bazoli , president emeritus of Intesa Sanpaolo.
