An armed robbery took place this morning, Monday 13 May, at “Le Porte di Napoli” shopping center in Afragola, in the Neapolitan province. From an initial reconstruction, around 12.30, two men armed with pistols broke into one jewelry store of the shopping center, threatening the employees with weapons and demanding delivery of luxury watches, jewels and other precious objects that were displayed in the windows. The criminals then fled: the loot is yet to be quantified.
On site, in via Santa Maria la Nova, the Carabinieri of the Casoria company intervened, alerted by the Operations Center, which had received the report of the robbery. The military personnel have started investigations to precisely reconstruct the dynamics of what happened and to identify those responsible for the robbery; the criminals did not fire any gunshots and, at the moment, no one was injured.
