Paulo Dybala torments Roma fans due to the adductor problem he had midway through the match against Juventus. From that moment on he never took the field again. Against Bayer he was on the list of players called up, but DDR chose not to use him. Yesterday in Bergamo, however, he wasn’t even present on the bench.
Dybala has not been able to make his contribution in the two key matches this season. There are many who believe that things could have gone differently with the presence of the Argentine striker on the pitch.
Roma are virtually out of the next Champions League and now all they can do is support Atalanta in the Europa League and hope that they finish fifth in the league at most. The Giallorossi, however, will also have to defend themselves from the attack of their cousins Lazio – now at -1 – and, therefore, they will not be able to do anything other than gain 6 points against Genoa and Empoli to still have hope.
Paulo Dybala will do everything to return to the group from tomorrow and therefore be available for the Roma-Genoa match, scheduled at the Olimpico on Sunday evening at 8.45pm. It will also be the Giallorossi’s last home match in this troubled season.
