Also this year the province of Cremona adheres to the project developed by French Ministry of Culturewhich with its 20th edition involves over three thousand museums in Europe.

The province of Cremona will also take part in this edition to the initiative developed by the Ministry, which involves the opening of multiple museum locations at night, in addition obviously to daytime hours. This is all made possible thanks to collaboration with local cultural associationsso as to be able to better promote our territory.

The museums that have joined the initiative are numerous, this will allow you to visit their areas with a magical atmosphere due to the night hours, all made possible even with free entry. But which museums have joined?

The museums that have participated

Below is the list of museums that have decided to participate in the initiative to promote the cultural heritage of our territory:

  • Museum of Rural Civilization “The old Cambonino”: Opening from 2pm to 6pm. At 2.30pm: One opening per day – Workshop on introduction to bees for adults and children organized by Città Rural in collaboration with the “Tutti Fuori” Association
  • San Lorenzo Archaeological Museum: Open from 10am to 10.30pm. At 6.30 pm “La voluntad del aire”, at 8.30 pm “Prohibited Tapes”.
  • Affaitati Palace – Art Gallery: Opening from 10am to midnight. From 5pm to 6.30pm Flowers at the Museum: the magical hidden world; from 6pm to 6.30pm: concert with music by Giacomo Puccini; 8.30 pm: visits to the Art Week works with Rossella Farinotti, Thomas Berra and Luca De Angelis.
  • natural History Museum: Open from 9am to 2pm and from 8pm to midnight. At 9pm: Spiders that passion: Tarante and tarantati, conference by Riccardo Groppali on the tarantula and the tarantati and on the popular beliefs connected to them. Reservation recommended: 0372 407768 – [email protected]
  • Small Library: Open from 9am to 2pm and from 8pm to midnight. Opening of the loan, return and reading service on site. Thematic showcase on spiders.
  • Courtyard of Palazzo Affaitati: Opening from 10am to midnight. From 7pm bar service by Arcipelago. 10pm: concert This city no longer has walls – Santamarea will lead into their world of water and fire, sacred and profane, from Palermo for the first time to Cremona. With them also Lumen.
  • Violin Museum: Opening from 10.30pm to 12.30am
  • Diocesan Museum: Open from 8pm to 10.30pm. At 8.45pm: Free guided tour by the museum curator Stefano Macconi. At 9.15pm: Free guided tour by the Director of the museum Don Gianluca Gaiardi
