President Vincenzo De Luca, maintaining the commitments undertaken, gave a mandate to the General Directorate for Health Protection and Coordination of the Regional Health Service to continue the recruitment of Social and Health Workers (OSS), centralizing the recruitment system through the use of the current rankings and putting an end definitively to an often cumbersome and not very transparent procedural system. This was declared by the Provincial Secretary of the CISL FP of Salerno Alfonso Della Porta. The President has become aware that the lack of personnel needs can be resolved by having a broad vision of the problem and not a fragmented and partial one since there is a strong need to adapt the staff if the right to health is to be concretely guaranteed. On several occasions our union had invited him to plan unique regional competitions since the same people participated in every event and therefore they were always the same with serious repercussions on the stability and employment stability of each individual company. It should be underlined that the strong desire for the centralization of OSS recruitment testifies to the belief that the quality of services is inclusive of socio-health care and reception, understanding that only through a proximity service, territorial network and better management of care processes in the hospital network, the regional and local healthcare system can be supported and essential and performance levels can be guaranteed. On May 31st the rankings will be used, specifically that of the ASL of Avellino and that of the San Sebastiano Hospital of Caserta, and the recruitment will take place for 7 other regional healthcare companies, including the two Salerno companies, the latter lacking operators involved in social-welfare activities. It is hoped that these operational methods can become routinely practiced on an integrative basis, involving all healthcare professions, including the Technical, Rehabilitative and Preventive areas. To safeguard the right to health and social cohesion, it is necessary to develop and exercise new healthcare models because now more than ever we need to make services efficient, experimenting with new paths starting from the different intensities of care and care complexity. Make the management activities of the operational units of the health and social professions services organic, through the assumption of direct responsibility of the sector staff with managers of the Health Professions, increase the departmentalisation of hospital activities and build functional district networks, these driven nursing, to guarantee continuity of care and optimization of service delivery protocols.
