For three years, the possibility of enjoying unique and breathtaking views, the Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa it combined a new experience, that of observe the flowers and plants growing in the ravines of the city wallstown but also to look for traces of the animals that made the thick medieval protections theirs habitat natural.

Next Saturday 18 May, Marco Zuffi and Silvia Sorbi of the Natural History Museum will accompany the participants on this journey called “Four Seasons on the Walls of Pisa Spring special“, which will start from Wooden Tower behind Piazzetta del Rosso and via del Borghetto to get to square of Miracleswhich involves observing rocks, listening to birdsong and many other activities.

The visit is organized by Natural History Museum of the University of Pisain collaboration with CoopCulture, Itinera Cooperative AndPromoculturethe business association that manages the high-altitude walkways of the Ancient Walls of Pisa. The initiative is the result of collaboration between the Walls and the Museum which also provides cross discounts for people who visit both sites during normal opening hours.
