The state police arrested four people from Palermo in flagrante delicto, CE, 18 year old, CC, 19 year old, CA, 22 year old and DAO, 20 year old, accused of theft and attempted car theft.
Investigations are underway to ascertain whether the four had committed other thefts. During the checks at Zisa, the officers arrested the four who attempted three raids, in very rapid succession. The attacks on board a stolen Fiat 500 were attempted in Piazzale Einstein, in Via Beato Angelico and in Via Guarneri.
In the first case, the four gave up due to the screams of citizens who witnessed the attempt to break the window, in the second case the theft was carried out and the four on board two cars, one stolen and the other used as a relay, always followed by patrols in “civilian” clothes, they were blocked and arrested.
Five perfectly functioning remote controls, a code reader control unit and break-in tools were found on board the car. The four were arrested. All the material and the vehicle were seized and the vehicle affected by the theft was returned to the owner.
