BASTIA UMBRA (Perugia) – The 12th edition of the Caccia Village, the largest hunting and clay shooting fair in central and southern Italy, opened on Saturday 11 May at Umbriafiere in Bastia Umbra and closes on Monday 13 May.

An edition that saw an increase in the number of visitors and exhibitors present, over 300, divided into various product sectors. International brands of weapons, hunting and lifestyle equipment, dog breeding and wild meat supply chains welcomed the people of enthusiasts who peacefully invaded the surrounding areas from the early hours of the morning. A fair that grows every year, establishing itself as a meeting and comparison point for the hunting world. For the second consecutive year it was Minister Francesco Lollobrigida (Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry) who cut the ribbon, together with a large number of authorities from local administrations, the government and the European Parliament who visited the exhibition pavilions and met the representatives of the hunting associations.
A well-attended visit by the Minister who wanted to visit all the exhibition pavilions, often spending time with sector workers and the public. “We are very satisfied and proud of the fact that for the second consecutive year Minister Lollobrigida cut the ribbon of Caccia Village” states Andrea Castellani, organizer of the event. “This is an edition where we worked with a view to a dialogue between the agricultural world and the hunting world and this is also demonstrated by the presence of the trade associations of both sectors and their numerous initiatives during the three days of Caccia Village. Caccia Village was born as a village for enthusiasts, which is why in addition to important moments of debate and discussion, we never miss out on entertainment and entertainment for the public who always arrive in large numbers here in Bastia Umbra” concludes Castellani.

Among the innovations that welcomed visitors on the first day were the large dog rally organized by Enci, the new shows by Raniero Testa and Davide de Carolis, the bushcraft area in collaboration with Tenuta Borgo Santa Cecilia and Umbraflor and the Customer Care service that has
allowed many visitors to transform their visit to the fair into a mini holiday in Umbria.
