REGGIO EMILIA – Reggio Emilia volleyball world in mourning for the death of a fundamental figure in the local scene, Pietro Cadoppiwho passed away yesterday at the age of 90.
A key presence of Cavriaghese Volleyball first and then of Volley Tricolore, he collaborated with the latter club for many years, experiencing the culmination of the ascendant parable such as the historic promotions from Serie B, the victory of the Serie B Italian Cup, that of the Italian Cup and of the A2 championship.
Loris Migliari, general director of Volley Tricolore: “We have lost a person unique in spirit, generosity and zest for life who knew how to instill optimism and joy in his every gesture and in his every word. Reggio Emilia volleyball has lost a pillar and each of us managers has lost an unrepeatable point of reference. Hello dearest Piero”.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4.45pm, leaving from the funeral home of the Santa Maria Nuova hospital for the Coviolo cemetery where the body will be cremated.
