Pasquale Pastore new president of the Coordination of Volunteer Associations and Municipal Civil Protection Groups of Taranto
In recent days, the assembly of the Coordination of the Volunteer Associations and Municipal Civil Protection Groups of Taranto was held at the Plot (Territorial Operational Logistics Unit) of Castellaneta Marina, a meeting which recorded a large and attentive participation of Associations adherents.
The assembly, chaired by the outgoing vice-president Pasquale Pastore, first unanimously approved the final budget for the 2023 year and the 2024 budget, and then proceeded, as per the agenda, with the renewal of the corporate offices, for which Ten presidents of Civil Protection organizations regularly registered with the Provincial Coordination were candidates.
Voting therefore proceeded for the appointment of the members of the new Board of Directors which, as per the regulations, saw the election of the seven most supported for the positions.
New president of the Coordination of Volunteer Associations and Municipal Civil Protection Groups of Taranto was elected Pasquale Pastore of the Mottola Soccorso Association, deputy vice-president Luca Genco of the AR27 Public Assistance of Martina Franca, vice-president Silverio Dinoi of the Prociv Arci of Manduria, treasurer Francesco Decuia of the Civil Protection Unit of the National Carabinieri Association of Martina Franca, secretary Carmine Scarano of the ERAV of Mottola, councilor Ascanio De Filippis of the ERA Magna Gracia of Taranto and councilor Aldo Marangione of the Misericordia of Palagiano.
On this occasion, Pasquale Iurlaro was appointed operational manager of vehicles, equipment and headquarters, while, while awaiting the establishment of the commissions with the support of the volunteers of the participating associations, these delegations were entrusted: Communication Luca Genco, Planning Silverio Dinoi, Ascanio De Filippis Equipment and Means and, finally, Aldo Marangione Training.
After thanking the outgoing Board of Directors for the activity carried out and all the participating Civil Protection Associations for their support in the coordination activities, the new president Pasquale Pastore wished the traditional “good work” to the members of the new Board of course, also thanks to their commitment, new and important results will be achieved.
