The discipline we are talking about is Greco-Roman wrestling, a culturally historic sport that is still widely practiced today even in the gyms of our country. Unfortunately, however, in the men’s field, Greco-Roman wrestling will not have Italian representatives. The Olympic qualification tournament held in Istanbul saw the defeat of all the Italian athletes in the first round.
