11/05/2024 – The highly anticipated appointment with Disco Diva, the international disco music festival, is back with a special edition designed to celebrate its tenth anniversary in the exclusive Gabicce Monte.
The main artists of this tenth edition have been announced, organized as always by the Municipality of Gabicce Mare, with the artistic direction of Disco Diva Events, which will be held in Piazza Valbruna on 28, 29 and 30 June. The event is sponsored by RAI MARCHE, supported by the Marche Region and positioned within “Pesaro Italian Capital of Culture 2024”.
“Disco Diva celebrating 10th Edition” – points out Cristina Tassinariart director of the Festival – will be the 2024 slogan for this celebratory edition which places the theme of diversity as a point of unity and strength at the center, an edition that collects the “the best of 10 years” of Disco Diva which in recent years has hosted the greatest artists international players who have made the history of disco. For the tenth anniversary, Delegation, Kid Creole & the Coconuts, David Nobles formerly of The Trammps will return to the stage to celebrate disco music by offering to those who were there, who are there and who will be there an immersive experience in a world that continues to fascinate everyone.
There will be no shortage of innovations with a new format designed for Sundays thanks to the collaboration of Maurizio Monti with a focus on the local clubs that made history in the 90s. We will talk about it with numerous famous guests in a dedicated talk.
Followed by an amazing live show with Montefiori Cocktail, one of the most important names on the world lounge music scene”.
Many professional DJs will enrich the three evenings to transform Piazza Valbruna into a temple of disco music. The choreographies of the three evenings will be handled as always by the friends of “I LOVE DISCO” of Florence, partners of Disco Diva for eight years, who with their iconic Disco Line involve the audience present, bringing them back into the atmosphere of “Soul train”.
Inauguration scheduled Friday 28 Junewith international guests DELEGATION, British soul disco group with a long career and notable international success. They debuted in 1977 with the album “Promise of Love” which achieved global success, thanks to the smash hits “Oh honey” and “Where’s the love we used to know”, tracks that became cult especially in the USA. In 1979, the album, with more disco characteristics, “Eau de vie” was released which definitively consecrated them; “You and I”, “Put a little love on me” “Heartache n 9” all became international hits.
Saturday 29 June dedicated to the history of 70′ and 80′ disco which will feature David Nobles and Kid Creole and The Coconuts.

With her strong and sensual voice rooted in gospel music, we will relive the vibes of the sound of Philadelphia that laid the foundations of Disco Music.
KID CREOLE & THE COCONUTS, an American musical group, directed by August Darnell, enjoyed considerable success in the 1980s. Their fast-paced music incorporates a variety of styles, including salsa and Caribbean rhythms. In recording terms, the most successful album is “Tropical Gangsters” which contains “Stool Pigeon”, “Annie, I’m not your Daddy” and “l’m a Wonderful Thing, Babe”.
Delegation, David Nobles and Kid Creole and The Coconuts, will be accompanied by Frankie & Canthina Bandalready guests at Disco Diva, who boast collaborations with artists of the caliber of Kool and The Gang, The Real Thing, The Ritchie Family as well as our prestigious guests.
Sunday 30 June on stage MONTEFIORI COCKTAILSthe greatest Italian representative, as well as one of the most important names on the world lounge music scene, from the mid-90s to today”. They have recorded 9 albums, advertising jingles, radio-television theme tunes (Affari Tuoi, Rai 1, fixed orchestra at “NDP” on LA7, 2 songs in the film “L’Ultimo Bacio”, 3 songs in “Sex and The City”, in 2022 docufilm on Pantani “Il Migliore”) and are present in numerous compilations understand “lounge” music, they have brought the most sparkling, fun and contagious cocktail music “made in Italy” back to the international spotlight with live concerts all over the world.
From today you can already purchase tickets online on the DICE platform and on the website discodiva.it and this year too the charity purpose of the festival continues as a signal that music must always be of help to major social issues. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity as always.
