Margherita Lops is now involved in the Blooming program development initiative dedicated to the “flowering” of the talents of the Poste Italiane Group: a growth path that puts the person at the center of their own self-development plan by providing stimuli, solicitations and experiences that can allow everyone to enrich their soft skills and grow both personally and personally. “Poste Italiane is always alongside women and I have never felt any form of discrimination. It is important that no woman should ever find herself in the situation of having to choose whether to fulfill herself professionally or give birth to a child.” In the Bat province 51.2% of employees are women. 179 women work in the 26 post offices, eight of whom hold the role of director, while in the six Delivery Centers of the province there are 72 women.
Over the years, the Company has introduced numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing gender balance, support for motherhood and fatherhood, and the development of female leadership. For example, for mothers there is a dedicated path called Lifed Parents, which aims to enhance the skills gained during the parenting experience: time management, listening, patience, empathy and communication. The program is aimed, more generally, at parents of children up to 18 years of age and is a path to making the parenting experience a “master” in transversal skills, also essential for professional growth. The program is also available for new mothers Mums at work, which aims to facilitate the return of women after the period of maternity, supporting them in finding a balance between the new role of mothers and that of workers with a dedicated coaching path.
For Mother’s Day 2024, Poste Italiane has created two colorful philatelic postcards, available at the price of €1.00 (in puzzle format at the price of €5.00) in the four post offices with philatelic counters of the BAT province, in via Giovanni Bovio in Andria, as well as in the Philately Spaces of the national territory.
