A party in her style, just as she would have imagined it: with music, fun and lots of joy. But above all with many children coming from the parish Catholic Actions to celebrate the end of the association year together and meet up in September. This and much more was there day dedicated to Rossella Catillothe teacher from Benevento who flew to heaven on 11 May 2011 at the age of 31.
Today Benevento, 13 years later, names a square after her: not just any one, but the one in frontand the ‘Ferrovia’ primary school of the ‘Moscati’ comprehensive institute, where the trainer has worked for years. Thanks to the interest of the Mastella administration, in particular the councilor for toponymy, Molly Chiusolothe bureaucratic process started in mid-December 2023 with the request presented by theDiocesan Catholic Action and from Parish of Santa Maria di Costantinopolidriven by Don Pompilio Cristino.
An afternoon of joy and carefreeness, therefore, precisely in the style handed down by the young deceased: over the course of her short life, in fact, Rossella stood out for her commitment and love towards the children and young people entrusted to her , both in the diocesan context, as head of the Catholic Action for Children of Benevento, both in the parish community of Rione Ferrovia and in the school community.
In his memory also one scholarship requested by family membersan initiative now in its 11th edition: it’s about a cash prize that is awarded every year to the child or young person who has stood out for feelings of particular generosity and altruism, for the commitment made in the associative field, but also in the family or with people in need.
