PALERMO – “ARTISTS IN UNIFORM”. CHARITY TALENT SHOW IN MEMORY OF LITTLE LUDOVICA. THE COMMITMENT OF THE UIL POLICE

A real talent show that will be held on Monday 13 May at 8.30 pm at the Jolly Theater in via Domenico Costantino 54/56 in Palermo. “Artists in Uniform”now in its sixth edition, is the initiative of the Uil Polizia where women and men of the police force with particular talent will perform for charity in the evening of support in favor of the “Ricordando Ludovica” association.

We were immediately convinced to tackle a delicate and certainly painful topic such as that of pediatric tumors. We believe that it is very important, in addition to the progress of treatment, the need to provide the right hospitality to the families of young patients residing in other provinces who are forced to go to Palermo for treatment. The association founded by Rosa and Pippo Gammino, parents of little Ludovica who unfortunately died due to the disease, offers hospitality during the days of hospitalization at the pediatric oncohematology department of the Palermo Civic Hospital. We are therefore happy to be able to give our contribution, as Uil State Police”. Vittorio Costantini, national general secretary of Uil Police, said this.

During the evening, a qualified jury will select the 2024 Artist in Uniform. Taking part will be: Ernesto Maria Ponte, Antonio Pandolfo, Marco Manera, the maestros Flora Faja (president of the jury), Mario Renzi and Ray Di Matteo of the Made in Sud Orchestra. Also important will be the presence of the journalist Milvia Averna, director Glitter Sicily Magazine, and of the entire popular jury.

Presenting the evening they will be Barbara Lipari, Sonia Hamza and Maurizio Midulla also an “artist in uniform”. The event will also see the participation of the Sicilia band Sikuli 2.0, who will bring Sicilian folklore revisited in a world music key, the singer-songwriter Cinzia Fanara, Antonio Panzica, showman, Gabriella Gugliotta, cabaret artist, and the sand artist Stefania Bruno who will transform with the magic of his hands, grains of sand in fascinating visual works.
