“Lavinia, Lavinia, Lavinia” and “Come on Lavinia!”. The shouts of incitement rise very loudly in Piazza San Vittore from the very numerous participants (almost 700 people), that this morning they participated in the procession strongly supported above all by the lawyer Marta Criscuolo, mother of Lavinia Limido (now hospitalized in Circolo hospital where she underwent a series of surgeries after the stabbing by her ex-husband Marco Martinati) and wife of Fabio Limido, killed by his ex-father-in-law.
A tragedy that shook the entire Varese community, with national media attention highlighting a very serious news event that occurred in a wealthy area of the city.
A long and silent procession started at 11 from Piazza Montegrappa then along Corso Matteotti concluding the journey in Piazza San Vittore in whose basilica a rosary was also held to commemorate the passing of Fabio Limido.
So much emotion transpired in the faces of the participants, simple citizens as well as many friends of the Limido family, particularly well known in Varese.
Demonstration of solidarity and closeness to the family, also testified by many banners or signs. Some are also critical of justice.
In short, sadness, anger, bitterness, condolence but also strongly shout out their closeness to Lavinia as well as to the entire Limido family.
Among the participants also representatives of institutions such as the mayor Davide Galimberti or the president of the Province Marco Magrini, as well as the lawyer of the Limido family, Fabio Ambrosetti.
Of note is the participation of parents who have their children in the same kindergarten that Lavinia Limido’s son attends, all of them with a sunflower in his hands <>.
