The electoral campaign is getting underway in view of the European elections on 8 and 9 June. Stop in Modica, tomorrow morning, May 12th, for the “Sicily that matters in Europe” tour.
The appointment, which will see the presence of the Sicilian candidates of the 5 Star Movement in the European Parliament for the Islands constituency, is scheduled for 11.00 am in the conference room of the Torre del Sud hotel in Corso Sandro Pertini.
Together with Giuseppe Antoci (leader), Patrizio Cinque, Antonella Di Prima, Virginia Farruggia, Antonino Randazzo and Matilde Montaudo, the regional coordinator Nuccio Di Paola, the national deputy Filippo Scerra, the regional deputy Stefania Campo and the provincial coordinator Federico Piccitto will speak.
“Our task must be to speak to citizens and remind them that there are many more reasons to go to the polls than to desert them, leaving the field open to the right which day after day is demolishing welfare and healthcare, our agriculture , destroying Italy and the South in particular – says Piccitto – for this reason we ask all our members and supporters to participate in the meeting but also, obviously, to become an active part in this electoral competition, making sure to push as many people possible to go and vote for our candidates and make the voice of our territory heard loudly in Europe through them.”
