Sun and heat return to Naples and Campania: on the weekend of 11-12 May, temperatures rise again and the sky is finally clear of clouds, after the instability of recent days. A month of May that seemed more like March, with rain and sun every other day: the feeling is that, in addition to a sort of spring “delay”, there could also be repercussions for the next few months, with summer which could arrive in delay in turn based on the natural principle of climate compensation, as explained by several meteorologists in the last period. Already today, Friday 10 May, the sun has once again reigned supreme, with almost no or very weak wind, and a mercury just below 25 degrees.

Tomorrow, Saturday 11 Maythe weather will be almost identical: the few clouds remaining on the horizon will give way to blue skies and the sun, which will touch 27 degrees, with weak or completely absent winds. Sunday 12 May, the day in which the Tour of Italy will pass in Naples, a similar situation: sun and heat will accompany the cyclists who, arriving from Abruzzo, will enter Campania and after crossing the Campi Flegrei they will arrive in Naples. Next week too the weather will remain stable, at least in the first few days: the first possible worsening, with the return of the rain, will arrive around next Thursday, even if the meteorological picture is constantly evolving. The worst, however, seems to have passed at least for some time: some shadows instead on the second half of the month, where heavy and sudden rains could return, more typical of autumn than spring.
