The new CUG appointed by the extraordinary commissioner Patrizia Valenti together with the new president Gianna Dimartino has taken office at the Free Municipal Consortium of Ragusa.
The “Single Guarantee Committee for equal opportunities, the enhancement of the well-being of those who work and against discrimination” has the aim of carrying out proactive, consultative and verification tasks, with the aim of spreading a gender culture as well as enhancement of employee well-being at work, training, fight against any type of discrimination or mobbing in line with European and ministerial directives. Furthermore, the proactive role of the CUG, acting as an observatory, aims to protect the rights and needs of workers within the public administration.
The members of the Single Guarantee Committee are: Laura Aquila, Maria Casamichiela, Giuseppe Cirnigliaro, Marzia Incardona, Salvatore Lombardo and Francesco Parisi. For the trade union organizations Biagio Tummino (Ugl), Maria La Terra (Cgil), Santa Farruggio and Salvatore Iacono (Cisl), Giovanna Scribano (Ugl), Viviana Giardina and Luigi Santoro (Silpol).
For the public part, the following were added: Claudio Corallo, Sarah Pollicita, Emanuela Brugaletta and Mario Chiavola, all as substitutes.
“I accepted this important assignment with enthusiasm and with the desire to put maximum effort into relaunching this body in the implementation of its consultative, propositional and verification functions, starting from the analysis of the staff situation and the verification of the state of implementation of those actions already included in the positive action plan adopted by the administration. I have conveyed the same enthusiasm and have already found it among all the CUG members who I will try to involve as much as possible, including the substitutes, by inserting them into thematic working groups and diversified roles, to better contribute to the activities and objectives of the Body. ”, comments President Dimartino.
