ANCONA Railway traffic on the Bologna-Ancona line has returned to normal following the tragedy in Faenza this morning (10 May) where a man was hit by a moving train.

The situation
Traffic returned to normal after investigations by the Judicial Authority.
High Speed, Intercity and Regional trains recorded increased travel times of up to 40 minutes.
Intercity and regional trains have suffered route limitations.
Regional trains have suffered cancellations.
The IC 608 train Lecce (6.23am) – Bologna Centrale (3pm) ends the journey today in Cesena.
Passengers can continue their journey with the IC 610 Lecce train (8.20am) – Bologna Centrale (5pm).
The IC 609 train Bologna Centrale (2.00pm) – Lecce (10.49pm) today originates from Cesena.
Passengers departing from Bologna Centrale, Faenza and Forlì can use the IC 611 train Bologna Centrale (16:00) – Bari Centrale (23:11).
