Padua Volleyball, Alberto Salmaso is coach Cuttini’s new second

I’m really excited”, the words of coach Cuttini’s new assistant. For Pallavolo Padova it is a source of pride to see one of its young people, who grew up within the club, reach such professional levels, also gaining experience in the women’s and men’s national teams. Alberto Salmaso’s career began several years ago as an athlete in the youth sector, covering that role exclusively until the 2013 season. In 2014 he joined the first team staff, as a scoutman, with coach Valerio Baldovin. He later began to act as an assistant to the coaches of the youth sector, first with Cesare Schievano and then with Alice Biasini, to finally cover, at full capacity, the role of scoutman also with Jacopo Cuttini. In addition to his commitment with Pallavolo Padova, the new second coach also spoke about his experience as assistant scoutman of the senior men’s national team. “I have been in Cavalese since May 6th for the national team training camp, which will end on the sixteenth. This allows me to work closely with a very high level staff, from whom I am learning a lot.”
