Viterbo – The long-awaited party returns to the center on Saturday 11 May – Parking ban from 3pm and 6pm traffic interruptions – Here are the streets and squares affected
Viterbo – We receive and publish – Feast of the Holy Savior, the events scheduled in the program for the 2024 edition continue. Tomorrow, Saturday 11 May, the solemn procession returns to the streets of the centre. In this regard, we recall the main measures regarding parking and vehicular traffic in the streets and squares of the historic center affected by the religious event.
Viterbo – The procession of the Most Holy Savior
Following a specific ordinance (n. 228 of 30-4-2024), from 2pm today 10 May until midnight on 12 May, a parking ban with forced removal and a traffic ban in Piazza Santa Maria Nuova will be established , in order to allow the setting up of the float and decorations in the square itself. From 7.30 am on Saturday 11 May until midnight on 12 May, parking and circulation will also be prohibited in Piazza Don Mario Gargiuli.
Furthermore, from 3pm on May 11th, a parking ban will be established with forced removal in the following streets and squares:
– piazza Santa Maria Nuova, via Cardinal La Fontaine (in the stretch between via San Lorenzo and via San Carluccio), via Macel Maggiore, piazza San Carluccio, via and piazza San Pellegrino, piazza Scacciaricci, via San Pietro (from via San Pellegrino to via Cardinal La Fontaine), via San Leonardo, via del Meone, via Garibaldi (from via del Meone to piazza Fontana Grande), via Cavour, piazza del Plebiscito, via San Lorenzo (from piazza del Plebiscito to piazza della Morte excluding).
Starting at 5.45pmduring the parade of the historical procession commemorating the arts and crafts guilds which will start from via San Pellegrino, interruptions and diversions may occur along the following route: via San Pellegrino, piazza San Carluccio, via Macel Maggiore, via Cardinal La Fontaine, via San Lorenzo, via Zazzera, piazza Don Mario Gargiuli, piazza Santa Maria Nuova.
Interruptions and diversions may also occur from 6pm and for the entire duration of the religious event, along the following route: piazza Santa Maria Nuova, piazza Don Mario Gargiuli, via Cardinal La Fontaine, via Macel Maggiore, piazza San Carluccio, via and piazza San Pellegrino, piazza Scacciaricci, via San Pietro (from via San Pellegrino to via Cardinal La Fontaine ), via San Leonardo, via del Meone, via Garibaldi (from via del Meone to piazza Fontana Grande), piazza Fontana Grande (also on the via Saffi side), via Cavour, piazza del Plebiscito, via San Lorenzo (from piazza del Plebiscito to piazza of Death excluded), via Cardinal La Fontaine, piazza Don Mario Gargiuli, piazza Santa Maria Nuova. The solemn procession will start at 6 pm from Piazza Santa Maria Nuova.
