CIVITAVECCHIA – This time it ended differently for the two robbers who in recent days at the Pincio blocked a Glovo rider, taking his scooter away under threat. Both, aged 19 and 20, were arrested by the Carabinieri, after an operation that lasted a few days, which allowed them to provide the judicial authority with all the elements to trigger the arrest of the criminals. Two cases in the space of a few weeks, following which they got away with a free complaint and the obligation to sign, while awaiting trial. The third episode, however, had a different epilogue: the two boys from Civitavecchia, on the orders of the judiciary, were arrested by the military and will have to answer for the crime of robbery.
The incident happened in Piazzale Guglielmotti, a few steps from the children’s park, under the eyes of many parents: the 19-year-old and the 20-year-old blocked and attacked the Glovo operator, a man in his thirties, and forcibly took away his scooter. It took the Carabinieri just a few minutes to intercept the two robbers and take them to the barracks, also managing to recover the moped and return it to its rightful owner. At first the case was closed with the perpetrators of the robbery being acquitted, but yesterday morning the two young men from Civitavecchia were notified of the worsening of the measure.
Both are under house arrest, awaiting trial.
